On August 30, 1270 the village Irmgarteichen was first mentioned in an official document and thus is one of the oldest settlements in the Siegerland. For the proper celebration of the 750th anniversary, the village community has come up with several ideas: The festivities will last throughout the entire year 2020. Graebener® is sponsor of the anniversary celebration.
On February 29, 2020 the festivities were begun with a concert in the parish church. Further activities are planned, such as a hike during summer solstice, a festive weekend in the Schützenhalle, a soap box race and a Christmas market.
"Irmgarteichen is located in the immediate vicinity of our company in Werthenbach and some of our employees live there. Giving back is important to us and this event offers the opportunity to do so", sums up Dieter Kapp, Managing Partner at Graebener®.
