With the constituent meeting of the General Assembly on June 21, 2022, Fabian Kapp, Managing Director of Graebener® Maschinentechnik, will take over one of the 19 seats of the electoral group "Manufacturing/Industry” in the General Assembly of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Siegen-Wittgenstein (IHK Siegen-Wittgenstein) for the next four years. The regional business body is the organ and voice of the region's economic power and represents around 25,000 companies from Siegerland-Wittgenstein and Olpe.
"We make up a large proportion of the hidden champions and SMEs that are the backbone of the region. There is much to be done to maintain and strengthen this economic power," says Kapp. "One of the critical challenges is the desolate situation of our heavy load routes, which confronts companies with nearly insurmountable financial and organizational challenges. Voluntary commitment for the Assembly is part of my contribution to the future sustainability of our region."
Together with 43 other honorary representatives of the various industries, Fabian Kapp will represent the concerns and interests of the regional economy. Among other things, the General Assembly decides on projects to be launched and supports companies on issues relating to all commercial and industrial topics.
