We were pleased to welcome Marco Müller, Mayor of the City of Netphen, and Ms. L. Görg from the Press and Public Relations Office to our company.
Having been elected to office only recently, in fall 2025, the mayor took the opportunity to introduce himself in person and get to know the region’s companies — and the people behind them — more closely. The focus was on an open exchange about the current business situation, specific needs and expectations from the local economy, and the City of Netphen’s plans for the near future.
Among the topics discussed were:
- the challenging situation in recruiting employees
- transportation challenges for heavy-load transports in the region
- the new “Jump-to-Job” event format aimed at attracting apprentices, organized by the city, where regional companies can introduce themselves and offer interactive hands-on activities
- the next Company Forum in October, a regional networking event
Personal exchange between businesses and local government is important in order to identify shared challenges early on and develop solutions for the region together.
Representing Graebener® were Frank von der Heyden, Ludger Dax, and Den Christian Gertz.
Thank you for the visit and the open conversation. We look forward to continuing the dialogue.
